There is something about a great pair of boots. A woman in boots says "hot and in control" like nothing else.
The right pair of boots will boost your confidence level and make you feel sexy, powerful and in control. Great boots with the right outfit are sexy without going too far over the edge, which means you can wear them to work (unless you work at a bank or some other very conservative field), out at night or shopping on a weekend.
Which brings us to today's Vintage Item of the Day, this pair of vintage black boots.
In general with super high heels, you want to avoid micro mini skirts, unless you want to look like you belong on a corner of Hollywood Boulevard and I don't mean waiting to cross the street. That being said, boots cover more leg than a pair of pumps or sandals, so as long as you're not on your way to work thigh high boots actually work with shorter skirts, as long as they're not too short. Also, always remember the rule - if your skirt is short, don't show too much skin on top and vice versa.
